Purpose

The Village of Germantown Hills is a municipal corporation governed by a President and Board of Trustees, with the help of other officers and employees. The Village government adopts and enforces local laws, builds and maintains local streets, operates the sanitary sewer system, and generally attends to Village business.

Office Location

The Village Hall is located at 216 Holland Road, just north of Illinois Route 116.

Request for Public Records

Requests for public records shall be in writing directed to the attention of the Village Clerk. Requests should be delivered to the Village Hall, mailed to Village Clerk, 216 Holland Road, Germantown Hills, Illinois, 61548, or emailed to villagehall@mtco.com. There is no charge for the first 50 pages of black and white paper copies, with 15 cents per page collected thereafter. If color copies are provided, the public body will request reimbursement for the reproduction costs.

The Freedom of Information Act is designed to allow you to inspect or receive copies of records. It is not designed to require a public body to answer questions. To the extent that you wish to ask questions of a representative of the Village of Germantown Hills, you may call the Village Hall at 309-383-2209 to be directed to the proper person.
